What I Care About?

Over the years I've been in setups where I did some of my best work, and others where, looking back, I could have added a lot more. The difference usually came down to the environment, not the effort. So I've tried to be honest with myself about where I actually thrive, and I'd rather share that openly than figure it out six months into a role. It saves everyone's time, mine, the founder's, the team's, and it means that when there's a fit, I can hit the ground running and genuinely add value.

The work I care about most is GTM and partnerships, figuring out how a product reaches people and who it grows with. That's the thread through everything I've done, and it's where I add the most. I do that work best in places that care about culture and intent as much as the numbers.

Autonomy. I do my best work where there's trust and a bit of room to run. Give me the goal and the why, and let me figure out the how. It inspires me to give my all.

A culture that backs growth. I firmly believe in dedicating time outside of work hours to hone my skills and expand my knowledge. I'm drawn to teams that see that as a good thing rather than a distraction. The best places I've worked treated their people getting better as the whole point.

A real seat at the table. I want to be close to the actual decisions, the vision, the roadmap, where the company's headed and why. I love working with people who have strong opinions, as long as there's clear reasoning behind them and not just noise.

A team with the right energy. I'm at my best around people who are sharp and genuinely motivated. The size of the team has never mattered to me. The attitude in it matters enormously.

Ownership. I've been a founder, so I think like one. I care about being responsible for real outcomes, P&L, growth, the things that actually move, and I value working somewhere that shares the upside with the people building it.
